{"id":7,"date":"2019-11-21T18:24:13","date_gmt":"2019-11-22T00:24:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kpdsb-dar.ca\/?p=7"},"modified":"2023-08-31T12:46:48","modified_gmt":"2023-08-31T17:46:48","slug":"strategic-planning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kpdsb-dar.ca\/2021\/blog\/strategic-planning\/","title":{"rendered":"Strategic Plan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Our 2019-2024 Strategic Plan is a document used to guide our work and to communicate with our stakeholders on our goals and the actions needed to achieve those goals.&nbsp; At the heart of our strategic plan is our vision statement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-large is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board puts students first by creating a culture of learning.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The KPDSB has set priorities in four key areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Student Achievement:<\/strong> Ensure the necessary resources are provided to all students to increase their individual achievement.<\/li><li><strong>Safe and Supportive Schools:<\/strong> Ensure all students and staff have safe learning and working environments where the academic and mental health needs of the child are met.<\/li><li><strong>Innovative Practice:<\/strong> Demonstrate effective \u201cchange-ready\u201d leadership.<\/li><li><strong>Reconciliation:<\/strong> Ensure all schools and staff are actively engaged in responding to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission\u2019s Calls to Action.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>While COVID-19 pandemic brought with it unprecedented challenges, our staff and students continued to make progress towards our goals as evidenced throughout the 2021 Director\u2019s Annual Report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:40%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kpdsb-dar.ca\/2021\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/01\/Strategic-Plan-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-854\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-bottom is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:35.01%\">\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kpdsb.on.ca\/assets\/uploads\/Strategic%20Plan\/2019-2024%20Strategic%20Plan%20-%20FINAL.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Click here to view the 2019-2024 Strategic Plan PDF in full.
