Message from the Director

Welcome to the 2025 Keewatin Patricia District School Board’s Director’s Annual Report.

This year’s report highlights the rich diversity of academics, arts, athletics, and expanded programs offered to KPDSB students. We take you on an audio and visual tour of the exceptional work and engagement of our staff and students in the arts, athletics, math, literacy, Indigenous education, special education, and mental health.

Our commitment to all students’ well-being and success shines through as we observe staff supporting students to achieve their dreams in mind, body, and spirit. This year the efforts of students and staff contributed to higher achievement in math, reading, writing, as well as improved credit accumulation and graduation rates. These are critical to all students finding their pathway to success.

KPDSB’s commitment to truth and reconciliation through action and human rights and equity is evident throughout, but especially in the highlights from our Indigenous Education programming and supports, the work of the Rapid Response Northern Schools Team and our First Nations Support Program Principal.

Please enjoy this highlight reel of our 2025 year as we walk you through the hard work, dedication, caring, and commitment of our students and staff as we endeavour to ensure that all at KP will feel competent, valued, trusted, and above all…hopeful.

Thank you.
